Employee Spotlight - Stuart

Stuart joins us as our new Business Development Manager to engage with new customers to promote our services and products. We offer a great selection of JET products which are ever evolving and continually improving and we have the capacity to grow and assist even more event organisers with their events than ever before! He will also be working closely with event organisers to understand exactly what is required as the industry evolves, helping to inform our R&D team on where they should focus their efforts, and to learn where we can further improve and enhance our products to ensure organisers are able to put on their best event yet! You might even get to tell him about your event on the golf course...

Let's find out a bit more about Stuart...

How long have you worked for JET?
I am currently approaching the end of my first month here at JET, which has flown by!

What have been your impressions of the events industry?
The events industry is a great industry to work in. It’s full of life and is all about people, networking and sales which has been the core of every job I have ever had! Having been a visitor and exhibitor on many occasions I find it really interesting to see the industry from an organisers perspective!

If you were going to run an event, what would it be?
I have a huge love for property, both new builds and renovations, and my degree is in renewable energy so it would have to be an eco-property show!

First song bought?
I can’t remember the first song but the first album I bought was a Sterophonics album back in 1999, 'Performance and Cocktails'!

The song you’d sing at karaoke?
With a singing voice like mine, I have always stayed well away from Karaoke!

Favourite Film?
At the moment it’s the kids film SING as it keeps my little one calm for at least 10 minutes!

Who would play you in a movie?
It would have to be a vigilante like Batman!

Favourite Food?
Easy, chocolate!

Favourite Drink?
Singha Beer.

Favourite Holiday/Place to go on holiday?
UKwise I love Cornwall, anywhere from Falmouth to St Ives! Overseas anywhere warm with a nice beach!

If you could travel anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go?
It would have to be Australia and New Zealand for at least 6 months!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with my family or out on the golf course!

What one thing could you never give up?
Refer to favourite food! Chocolate!

Your biggest achievement?
Achieving a 1st Class Degree from Exeter Uni.
