Employee Spotlight - Lucy

Up this month it's Lucy... who is currently off celebrating getting married! Congratulations to Lucy who is one of four members of staff getting married this year! Lucy is one of our Account Managers and ensures that our clients get the best possible service from our team.

How long have you worked for JET?
3 years in August and I’ve loved every minute.

What have been your impressions of the events industry?
It’s vast and so fast moving, event technology is growing at such a rate that even in the few years I’ve been in the industry things have changed and improved. I’m really looking forward to seeing the upcoming developments!

If you were going to run an event, what would it be?
Probably something craft based I’ve always loved making things so this would be right up my street.

First song bought?
Possibly Kylie’s ‘I should be so lucky’ I can’t actually remember.

The song you’d sing at karaoke?
I don’t sing… unless its in the car and I’m on my own. But then I do some great renditions of anything from Elvis to AC DC!

Worst job you’ve had (hopefully not this one ;) )?
Thankfully I’ve not had any bad jobs, not even back in my student days.

Favourite Film?
So many, but Dirty Dancing and Willow have to be on the top of the list.

Favourite Food?
Chocolate and Cheese (although not together lol)!

Favourite Drink?
Gin! Lovely with a bit of Ginger Beer or Elderflower tonic… yummy!

Favourite Holiday/Place to go on holiday?
Berlin, we had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back. It really has a bit of everything, great food and drink, brilliant museum’s and I finally got to go and see Nefertiti!

If you could travel anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go?
Egypt, I’ve been fascinated by the history and culture since I was a child

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I crochet which keeps me busy, I also love my garden which is a bit of a work in progress but I’m sure it’ll get there at some point.

What one thing could you never give up?
Family and friends, cheesy I know but my life would be so boring without them.

Tell us something we don’t know about you.
I spent a lot of time travelling when I was a child, my Father was in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Royal Regiment so I started school in Northern Ireland and spent a year living in Hong Kong. I’d love to go back one day and see how its changed.
