JET’S 2023 ROUND UP
AND OUR PLANS FOR
2024 is just around the corner, which gives us the perfect opportunity to look back on the year – on our success, milestones and achievements, and what a year it’s been! In this yearly roundup newsletter, we are excited to share all the advancements we’ve made throughout the year.
First, let’s start with the numbers for 2023…
This year, we’ve assisted event organisers with 200 successful events, where we welcomed 441,068 visitors and supported 72,330 exhibitors. But that’s not all – we handled a staggering 1,158,939 registrations and created 297 custom registration forms. Not to mention that the events were hosted at 80 venues in 15 countries across 4 continents! To top it off, our NPS (Net Promoter Score) stands strong at 67.
Our most visited UK venues were:
- Excel, London – 28 times
- NEC, Birmingham – 17 times
- Business Design Centre, London – 11 times
- Manchester Central – 7 times
- Harrogate Convention Centre – 6 times
All in all, we’ve had a busy year, especially towards the end of the year when our busiest day was the 27th of September and our busiest week was the 2nd-8th of October. As for our busiest month, November takes the cake.
Highlighted below are some key achievements from this year. In addition to these visible successes, we’ve made substantial advancements in the background. Our efforts have focused on enhancing our software’s security, boosting email deliverability, and scaling our hosting infrastructure to better serve your needs. We also made improvements to our registration forms address lookup feature.
Our achievements in 2023…
Celebrated our 30th Anniversary in business
This year, JET celebrated three decades in the events industry which is a huge milestone for us. Starting as Show Data Systems in 1993, we’ve grown a lot as a company and had the opportunity to work with a variety of event organisers around the globe. We released an article to share this with you in more detail.
Opened a US Office
Earlier this year, we announced that we officially opened our first JET office in the US, in Houston, Texas to be exact. We couldn’t be happier about the expansion, especially since it gave the organisers we work with several benefits like reduced shipping costs and carbon footprint as well as a better way to navigate working in different time zones.
Collaborated with LinkedIn’s Community Builder
JET was also the first-ever UK event registration company that works with trade shows to collaborate with LinkedIn to use its Community Builder feature! We incorporated this feature into our registration forms, making it easier for event organisers to grow an engaging community surrounding their event and for their attendees to join.
Boosting our industry presence
Our activities included headline sponsoring the EN Indy Conference & Awards (and the upcoming EN Marketing Conference in February), sponsoring the Dan Assor Show (with our new MD, Oliver Smart featuring in one of the episodes), and collaborated with ESSA on the EIA manifesto launch.
As for our plans for 2024…
We partnered with FFAIR to enhance organisers’ event experience with upcoming Organiser Dashboard
This year, we partnered with FFAIR to help event organisers get a more streamlined event experience by combining their manual and shop and our registration services. As a result of this collaboration, we will be releasing an Organiser Dashboard in the new year which will do just that!
New partnerships on the horizon
We’ll continue on our objective to buy, build, or partner with, the leading event technology. We’ll keep you informed of exciting developments next year, and we already have something significant in the pipeline around event apps – we’ll be announcing this in the new year!
