Upcoming Google Analytics Changes: Have you migrated to GA4 yet?

You may remember that last year Google announced that, as of July 1st 2023, all Universal Analytics (UA) properties would stop processing new data as part of the migration to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). With this migration, all users continue to have access to their UA properties to view and manage data until the 1st of July 2024, when this access and data will be permanently removed.

So, what actions do you need to take?

If you’d like to keep the data from your UA properties, you can use this opportunity to download or export the data before the deadline. You can find out how to do this in this guide.

Or, if you haven’t completely migrated your data from your UA properties to GA4, now’s the time to make the switch. You can follow this guide to find out how to do this.

Google Tag Manager

With this migration deadline coming up soon, it is also important to update any Google Tag Manager (GTM) tags to ensure continued data flow to your Google Analytics account. You can find out how to update your tags using this guide, and we also have updated GTM and GA4 guides to help you continue capturing values from our registration forms. These can be requested through your project manager.
