George | Account Executive
I’m George, Sales Executive at JET, focused on selling and managing our Self-Serve solution. I joined in June 2025, so I’m still finding my rhythm, but most of my days involve building relationships through LinkedIn and email to show how we can simplify registration and badging.
What sparked your interest in the events industry?
Having worked at a previous events agency in finance, the industry always intrigued me, and I loved the idea of being able to create something for a company which you can actually see come to life through all the hard work and dedication to the role. The events industry is also notorious for being close-knit and relationship-led, which is what I want to experience.
What do you love most about your role?
The fact that we genuinely help businesses with their registration, and you can tell they appreciate the work you do, it’s also really nice to go to an event you’ve helped with and sit back and admire the work you’ve put in to achieve your goal.
What made you decide JET was the right place for you?
I love the family feel of JET and the fact that no question is a stupid question. The team are unbelievably helpful, which I have needed coming into a brand new industry, and it’s nice to see a company all pulling in the same direction as one.
What do you think is our best product or feature?
Self-Serve, obviously!
If you could organise your dream event, what theme would it have?
It would probably be a golf event with the exhibitors being all of my favourite golf brands, with a different professional golfer on each stand demonstrating the product or service- this would be held at Augusta National. 😊
What’s one fun or surprising fact about yourself that we don’t know?
I can touch my head with my foot.
