What’s your career history?

Following 5 years of working in retail management, I jumped into the events industry in 2013 and have never looked back!

Beginning my career in a role staffing hundreds of event teams across the country (supporting independent businesses and major event organisers), then working directly on specific B2C & B2B events (the largest welcoming over 40,000 visitors and looking after 500+ exhibitors).

I am excited to see a new side to the events industry with JET and grow my industry experience!

What have been your impressions of the events industry?

You must always be ready to think on your feet! When you think you’ve encountered every onsite query, a new one will surprise you haha!

The song you’d sing at karaoke?

‘Tequila’ by The Champs.

Favourite Film?

I’ve recently started watching the Star Wars films and am enjoying them a lot more than I thought I would (…just don’t tell that to my other half!)

Favourite Food?

You just can’t beat a Sunday Roast!

Favourite Drink?

Amaretto on ice – especially while on holiday!

Favourite Holiday/Place to go on holiday?

I love Tenerife and have many happy childhood memories of family trips there – I’m now excited to go back and make new memories with my own family.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Catching up with my family and friends over a cuppa (or wine!)

Your biggest achievement?

My daughter ❤️
