Our Client – Hydrogen UK

Hydrogen UK is the UK’s leading trade association for the hydrogen sector, supporting organisations across the entire hydrogen value chain. Their Annual Conference & Awards is the country’s largest hydrogen-focused event, attracting a growing audience. In 2025, the event welcomed over 700 delegates, alongside more than 75 exhibitors, over 30 sponsors and 35 expert speakers.

Originally launched as the Hydrogen Taskforce in March 2022 and later rebranded as Hydrogen UK, the event has been running annually, with 2025 marking its third year. In 2023, Hydrogen UK also took over the long-standing Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Conference, which had been running for more than 20 years.

The Challenge

Before working with JET, Hydrogen UK faced difficulties with manual ticket printing and registration. As the event continued to grow, so did the need for a more streamlined and professional registration process. That’s where JET stepped in.

The Solution

The 2025 event marked Hydrogen UK’s first time working with Jonas Event Technology. JET delivered a smooth and efficient registration solution that supported:

  • Multiple ticket types, including conference-only, awards-only and combined passes
  • Separate passes for sponsors, exhibitors and general delegates
  • Custom registration forms tailored to each type of attendee
  • On-site support

The Result

On-the-day registration was simple and stress-free. Delegates scanned their barcodes, then printed and collected their badges without any issues.
