We are delighted to announce that JET has been recognised as a Living Wage Foundation accredited employer, which is a testament to our commitment to fair compensation for all our staff.
What is the Living Wage Accreditation?
The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate voluntarily paid by businesses who believe their staff deserve a fair, livable wage. It’s calculated based on the cost of living, providing a clear benchmark for responsible employers and covers ages 18 and older.
As of April 2024, the real living wage in the UK is currently £12.00 an hour and £13.15 in London, while the national minimum wage is £11.44 per hour.

At JET, we understand the importance of paying staff a real living wage which is why, in light of the wage increase, we’ve worked closely with our staffing agency partners to ensure the best outcome for our clients and staff. This approach lets us balance the market better and helps maintain and nurture these temporary staff to meet our event delivery standards.
