- What is an online account?
Your online account allows you to set up qualifiers and access lead data from all scanners linked to your company. You will receive login details to your online account via email from leadcapture@eventdata.uk after ordering an app or handheld scanner. - Can I order another scanner?
Yes! If you’d like to order another scanner, you can do so from your exhibitor dashboard. - What are qualifying questions?
Qualifying questions, or qualifiers, are questions used to assess a prospect’s interest and evaluate the likelihood of them becoming an actual lead. - How do I view/export my leads?
Your mobile app leads will sync when connected to a network and be available instantly. Your handheld scanner leads will be uploaded and made available to you at the end of the event, after you return your device. You can access all your leads on your exhibitor account, from there you can export and use them as needed.
Engage Scanner App
- Which app am I using?
It’s the Engage Scanner app, which you can download from the appropriate app store for your Android or Apple device.

On AppStore (for Apple devices) - Where do I find my login details?
Once you have placed and paid for your order you will receive an email with the subject line ‘Mobile App Download Details for (and then the event name will show here)’. This email will be sent from:
Jonas Event Technology (eventdata.uk) leadcapture@eventdata.uk This will contain your username and password, enabling you to use the Engage Scanner app at the specific event. - Can I set up additional questions to ask at the event?
Yes, you can set them up on your online dashboard under the ‘Qualifiers’ tab. Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email with a link to your dashboard under the subject line ‘Online access to scanner data for (and then the event name will show here)’. - Can I take photos?
Yes – there is an option on the Engage Scanner app to take photos. - Can I record voice notes?
Yes – there is an option on the Engage Scanner app to voice record notes. - How do I view my data?
Your data can be viewed on your online dashboard under the ‘Leads’ tab. Access to your dashboard is via the link within your ‘Online access to scanner data’ email. - Can I use the app license on another device?
To transfer your Engage Scanner app license to a different device, log out of your current device to deactivate the license, then log in to the new device to activate it. Please note that a single license cannot be used on multiple devices concurrently. To purchase additional licenses, visit your online exhibitor account. - What will happen if I lose signal during the event?
As long as you log into the app before you lose signal, you can continue scanning your leads as normal even when you have no signal and when you’re back online, your leads will start syncing again.

Handheld Scanner
- How do I get my scanner?
The scanners will be available for pick up on the day of the event at a designated location. Make sure to pick yours up before the event starts and don’t forget to drop it off when you’re done! - What is a barcode sheet?
Since your device is handheld, you will need to click on the option to ‘Print Barcodes’. This will make it easy to capture responses at the event. Simply scan the visitor’s badge, followed by the relevant qualifying question barcodes.
P.S. Remember to bring your barcode sheets with you to your event!
