Coventry Building Society Arena

Coventry Building Society Arena (CBS) is a world-class exhibition, event and conference centre with a capacity of about 40,000. Located in Coventry, it is estimated to be a 2-hour drive for 75% of the population. Restaurants

Big B’s Batches is a food service van located within a convenient 4-minute walk from the arena. It specialises in breakfast and lunch menu items, including breakfast sandwiches, burgers and salads. Open weekdays from 8:00-13:30, it is the perfect place to grab a quick bite if you are in the area. The next place where you can get a quick meal is in the Arena Shopping Park, just 10 minutes away by foot. The shopping park is home to several chain restaurants like Subway, Burger King and Nando’s, which are all affordable and reliable options if you are looking for a no-fuss meal, quick and easy. Lastly, if you don’t mind the travel, The New Horseshoe Bar & Grill is about a 16-minute walk from the arena. This is a pub that opens from 4 pm until 10:30 on weekdays, which is perfect if you fancy a longer meal in the evening. It serves a mixture of authentic cuisines, grilled dishes and much more.

Bars

If you’re in need of a drink at the end of a long day or just somewhere to relax, Coventry has some establishments that could help you with that. A 6-minute walk away from the CBS arena is Dhillons Brewery. The brewery is the perfect place to go if you are a beer and football fan, as it is also partnered with Coventry City Football Club so there are always events to go to. It is the closest bar-adjacent establishment to the arena, however, keep an eye out for their opening times as the brewery is only open Mon-Tue and Fri-Sat. Bull & Anchor is a Greene King pub that serves classic pub food while also serving beers on tap and a range of cocktails at an affordable price. While the area around the arena doesn’t have that many bars, there are plenty of pubs within a 1–2-mile radius so you never need to look too far to find somewhere to unwind at the end of the day.

DoubleTree by Hilton is a hotel that is attached to the CBS arena, as close as it gets! Equipped with free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, a restaurant and pet-friendly rooms, it is a very convenient option for anyone looking to stay the night in the CBS arena. But be sure to book in advance as it is very popular amongst fans, so rooms get snatched up quickly. The next hotel to be on the lookout for is Novotel Coventry M6 J3. Located about 20 minutes walking distance from the arena, it is also equipped with facilities like a sports centre and a restaurant. It is also very close to the city centre so if you are looking to explore as well as spend time at the arena, this hotel could be a great choice for you. The last hotel we recommend is a bit further away but if you are travelling by car, the journey won’t seem as long. The Beechwood Hotel, Bar & Restaurant is a 3-star hotel that has all your basic needs covered. The rooms are simple and spacious, just what you need after a long day at an event.
