Silvia | Product Manager
I’m Silvia, a Product Manager at JET. I’ve been with the team since 2013, and my days are a mix of working closely with the R&D team on new features and stepping back to focus on the bigger picture. I love balancing the detail with strategy to keep our products moving forward.
What do you love most about your role?
It’s not just managing features — it’s about building tools that power dynamic, engaging events for thousands of users. Every day is a chance to solve real problems, bring ideas to life, and shape the future of events.
What made you decide JET was the right place for you?
I started at the company from the ground up as a Technical Account Manager — creating quotes, building registration forms, managing data, printing and mailing tickets, and even running the onsite box office. Experiencing the full event registration lifecycle firsthand has given me a deep understanding of both client needs and operational challenges. Now, as a Product Manager, I’m empowered to bring ideas to life, collaborate across teams, and deliver solutions that make a real impact on how people experience events.
What do you think is our best product or feature?
I think all our products are great — each one offers unique features that bring real value to organisers, exhibitors, and attendees alike. But if I had to choose a favourite, it would be JET Onsite. It’s a product I’ve been involved with from the very beginning — from initial proof of concept to MVP — and I’m having the chance to watch it grow and evolve firsthand.
JET Onsite really stands out because it brings speed, reliability, and flexibility to onsite check-in and badge printing. It’s designed to handle high-pressure event environments with ease, offering a smooth and professional experience from setup to the moment attendees arrive. Seeing it in action at live events and knowing the role it plays in creating a great first impression is incredibly rewarding.
If you could organise your dream event, what theme would it have?
If I could organise my own dream event, it would be themed around real-life fantastic beasts — focusing on exotic animals that seem almost mythical. Think a mix between a wildlife showcase and an immersive storytelling experience, where guests can learn about extraordinary creatures like axolotls, fennec foxes, or glass frogs. It would blend conservation education with a touch of magic — bringing to life the idea that our real world is just as wondrous as any fantasy.
