What’s your career history?

I began my career as an Air Stewardess for Singapore Airlines, fulfilling a dream shared by many Singaporean women. However, my journey took an exciting turn when I ventured into the dynamic world of events, and I haven’t looked back since. With a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a knack for cultivating meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, I thrive on orchestrating collaborative efforts that drive mutual growth opportunities.

What have been your impressions of the events industry?

The events industry is a vibrant and dynamic field that continually captivates me with its energy and creativity. I’m impressed by the meticulous planning and coordination required to bring events to life, from small gatherings to large-scale productions. The industry’s ability to adapt and innovate, especially in the face of challenges like technological advancements and changing consumer preferences, is truly remarkable!

If you were going to run an event, what would it be?

An event focused on “Hometrepreneurs” bringing together all diverse home entrepreneurs creators, and innovators to explore emerging technologies, trends, and ideas shaping our future.

Worst job you’ve had (hopefully not this one 😉)?

I’ve been fortunate enough to have had positive experiences in all of my previous roles. While some positions were more challenging than others, each one provided valuable learning opportunities and helped me grow both personally and professionally. I believe that every job has its unique set of experiences and lessons, and I’ve always approached them with an open mind and a willingness to learn.

The Shawshank Redemption – It’s a timeless classic that combines compelling storytelling, memorable characters, and powerful themes of hope, resilience, and redemption.

Anything Beef – my ultimate favourite is steak!

Favourite Holiday/Place to go on holiday?

Bali is my second home (I make sure to visit at least once a year!), and let me tell you, it’s an absolute blast! From its vibrant culture to its mouthwatering cuisine, and oh my gosh, those beaches! The beaches are like something out of a dream – golden sands, crystal-clear waters, and sunsets that will leave you speechless. Trust me, Bali is the ultimate paradise!

If you could travel anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go?

The majestic fjords of Norway.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I’m all about embracing fun and spontaneity. And when I really want to kick back and relax, you can find me binge-watching the latest action movies or jamming out to some upbeat tunes!

Mi Familia.

Your biggest achievement?

Bringing my mom along for a “work + holiday” adventure during my time with Singapore Airlines.
