System Maintenance – August 2023

We’re upgrading our infrastructure and we’d like to share the updates with you.

We place paramount importance on protecting our systems and infrastructure, taking measures to ensure we’re not just keeping up with technological advancements, but also staying a step ahead. Our commitment to security, resilience, and performance ensures that our clients can trust us implicitly with their event technology needs.

Updates already in place:

Our partnership with Cloudflare now provides forward-facing protection against a myriad of threats and DDoS attacks.

We are now using the Mailgun platform alongside our own delivery mechanism to improve email deliverability.

Upcoming Updates:

Thanks to the partnership with our hosting provider, Hyve, our production and test infrastructure is now under the supervision of in-house experts within our parent company. This means that we can receive additional expertise and resources without compromising on resilience and security.

The new infrastructure means that we can now provide more powerful servers than before, while also increasing performance, end-user experience and capacity.

We have further secured our systems with practice scanning for malware on top of the usual anti-virus and security patching.

Lastly, we can now scale our systems up more flexibly in the event of a significant increase in demand.

When will these changes happen?

All our production data will be migrated from the existing database server to the new production server on the 8th of August 2023 between 9 pm and 3 am. We have prepared for this transfer by carrying out several ‘dry’ runs to ensure it goes smoothly and once the migration is underway, you will be notified with a maintenance message that will be displayed.
